The symptoms of menopause pictures

Menopause is something that all women experience during their lifetime, and is simply the time when women stop menstruating and become infertile. There are many symptoms that indicate that you have hit this point in your life. You may experience some of these various symptoms, and others you may not experience. Menopause is different for every woman, and some of these symptoms can be signs of other conditions. Some of the common symptoms of menopause include hot and/or cold flashes, clammy feelings, or night sweats. Many times your period will start to become irregular, including shorter and lighter, heavier or flooding, phantom periods, and shorter or longer cycles. Mood swings and sudden tears can also be indications of menopause. Many women have trouble sleeping or experience fatigue. Some even become irritable, anxious, or have trouble concentrating. Oftentimes, sex drives will deteriorate or sex itself can be painful due to dryness in the vagina. Some women suffer from memory loss, headaches, sore joints and muscles, or feelings of dread. Breasts can become tender, weight gain happens, and even body odor can change. Many of these symptoms tend to be cyclical, and can be helped with hormone replacement therapy or other types of treatment. Although this time of your life can be tough to get through, you are not alone. Talk to your doctor about getting some help. Don’t let menopause rule your life; instead take charge and you too can get through it!
