Pregnancy symptoms pictures

Most of us know that when we miss a period, that is usually a good sign that we are pregnant, but not a sure sign. The only real way to tell is a test. However, there are a few common symptoms that we suffer from when we get pregnant. You have to remember while reading that not all women have the same symptoms, and not all pregnancies are the same. One of the main early warning signs of pregnancy is spotting; this occurs anywhere from 6-12 days after conception and fertilization. Some women will also get cramps, which resemble period cramps. Your breasts can become swollen, sore, or heavy. They can also become painful or tender when touched, and the areola may darken. Tiredness and fatigue are common symptoms that can appear within a week of conceiving. This is related to many things, including lower blood pressure and increased blood production. One symptom that we all know about is morning sickness, or nausea. However, any woman that has had this symptom knows that it does not only occur in the morning; it can last all day! High levels of estrogen slows the emptying of the stomach, and this is why we vomit. Along with this comes food aversions and cravings, sometimes for things we don’t normally eat. While none of these are a sure sign of pregnancy, as many of these can be attributed to other things, they are common symptoms that pregnant women do see. A test is the only sure way to know if you are pregnant or not.
